Are you wondering about the format I chose for the keys __i_[nn] and __c_[nn], or are you asking why I am preserving comments?

I'll just assume the former.... :)

I wanted a key that is unlikely to clash with anything the user could have in their env file. I started with __comment[nn] but found it too verbose. Then moved to __c[nn] but realized that matching on startsWith("__c") is risky because it would also match with some funky variable a user could declare (since there's nothing forcing you to use SCREAMING_UPPERCASE only for env variables.

The [nn] two digit zero padding, is just for aesthetics, assuming you probably won't have more than 100 lines of comments in a single env files, so then all keys line up nicely.

The first comment key I created was about full-line comments, but then I realized there's also inline-comments to preserve, so I choose i for those. Inline comments are stored above the variable they are used in, because that makes it a bit more readable than storing them underneath the variable I think.

Also, I didn't plan to store empty lines, but that's just what my AI agent started doing, and I like it, because with that addition it preserves the whole file structure, so that was just a bonus :)

O I forgot. First it was __c_ and __i_ as I explained above, but when I realized we are also storing empty lines I changed __c_ (comment) to _l_ (line).
