Hello GitHub Support team,

On 2026-02-04 our GitHub account was converted from a personal account to an organization account (GUUFS → GUUFS-Global). Since that conversion, attempts to push to one of our repositories fail with the following error:

remote: Repository 'GUUFS/waitlist_landing' is disabled.
remote: Please ask the owner to check their account.
fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/GUUFS/waitlist_landing.git/': The requested URL returned error: 403

Organization: GUUFS (now an organization account / GUUFS-Global)
Users involved

Pushing user: GitHub username Clintonkes (local machine prompt shows this)
Organization/account owner: GUUFS-Global (please let us know if you need a specific owner/admin username or contact)
What we changed recently

Converted our GitHub account to an organization account (GUUFS → GUUFS-Global). The push failures began immediately after this change.
What we tried

Verified remote URL (HTTPS). The push still fails with the error above.
Confirmed the repository link and that the repo appears in the organization’s repo list (if you need screenshots we can attach them).
We are aware password auth for Git operations via HTTPS has been deprecated; we attempted using the same workflow as before (username/password prompt appeared), but the remote message indicates the repository is "disabled", which suggests an account/repo issue rather than credentials.
Request Please investigate why the repository GUUFS/waitlist_landing is disabled and advise what steps are required to re-enable it (or re-enable it on your side). If the disablement is due to billing, policy, or verification steps needed on the organization account, please tell us what must be completed and which organization admin should be contacted. If you need additional information or logs from our side we will provide them promptly.

I'm encountering the exact same issue. We recently converted a personal account into an organization, and all of a sudden, one of our repos gets the same message of disabled. We've tried accessing using https, ssh, and PAT; nothing has worked. The url of the project is: https://github.com/RodXander/ahcaribe

----UPDATE-----
I found a way to fix it. Transfer your project back to your personal account and then back to your organization. It worked for me on two projects.
