Describe the bug

When I press CMD + O to open the file chooser the display truncates the file's path unnecessarily. There's a lot of unused space on the right.

Image

To reproduce

I just press CMD + O and start typing a file name.

Expected behavior

The full path, or at least most of the path, would be displayed for the file.
